At ProGrin Dental, we rave about our at-home teeth whitening kits. They’re easy to use, affordable, and create great results. For some of our patients, these whitening kits are not enough to achieve the smile that they’ve always wanted. Some of our patients do not have good experiences with these kits because of their tetracycline-stained teeth and other deep stains. But, we’ve come across something completely different than your typical take-home whitening kits. It’s the Kor Whitening System.
Kor can take years worth of stains and discoloring and make your teeth the dream white that you’ve always wanted. It can whiten your teeth by 16 shades or more! The whitening gel is tested and completely safe and will not harm your teeth or gums. It also provides little to no sensitivity.
How does Kor Whitening work?
When you use typical whitening trays and strips, your saliva and sulcular fluid get into the whitening trays and diffuse the active ingredient, hydrogen peroxide. The Kor whitening trays are designed to seal these fluids out to produce the most effective results. You were these trays overnight for 6-10 hours as opposed to the typical 25-30 minutes of other whitening strips. It works by restoring your teeth’s ability to absorb oxygen. The oxygen from the whitening gel is absorbed into the tooth, dissolving stain molecules.
This whitening kit provides easy periodic home maintenance, making Kor Whitening entirely permanent.
How are these trays different?
These are not just your everyday whitening trays or strips. Your dentist will use the Kor-Seal Whitening Trays to create a mold of your teeth. You will select which level of whitening is right for you. You will then wear your custom-molded trays at home for two weeks while you sleep. These trays are specifically designed for you! There are no “one-size fits all.”
- They’re comfortable – these trays are thin and form-fitting that it is hard even to notice that they are in your mouth.
- It’s convenient – wearing these tray at night helps to free up your time during the day.
- They’re secure – the seal from the trays helps keep the gel in the trays and away from leaking into your mouth.
