What is Bete Hosanna?
Bete Hosanna is a transition home for orphans age 15 and up who have aged out of the orphan system in Ethiopia and would otherwise be forced out onto the streets. Many of these girls are susceptible to prostitution or sex-trafficking.
Angela LaPlace, one of Dr. Ayers’ long-time patients, started Beta Hosanna in 2019 and has raised enough money to start a 2-year program with 11 girls who are nourished physically and spiritually. Bete Hosanna hopes to open a second home to more girls because the need is vast!
